The quintet of the trumpet player (and on a piece which does not miss interest, pianist) Foudil wished, according to the liner notes, to present "quite simply" his work. Regarded a beginning and not as a result (average age of the musicians : 26 years), this relaxed album walks on the side of hard-bop (the trumpet player evokes with greediness "the Blue Note writing"), takes its time, evokes Monk on several occasions, dreams...
